Dear Parents and Students,

It’s that time of year again!  I hope that you all enjoyed a restful and pleasant summer and that you are looking forward to a year of musical development, excellence, and performance.  As we near the first day of school on August 21, please take a moment to encourage your child to break out the instrument from its summer slumber, and practice for a day or two in preparation for the beginning of the year.  We have many exciting things on tap for this year, including a May day trip to Carowinds and a full slate of performances in and out of school.  Please go ahead and mark your calendars for September 9 at 6:30 PM.  On this evening, we will have our parent information meeting for the 2008-09 school year.  All parents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.  Enjoy the rest of the summer and I look forward to seeing everyone shortly!
